Equinox represents an acknowledgement that library users are also consumers in general, and have a life of consumption that extends to many content outlets online. This concept demonstrates familiar web patterns for displaying and organizing content and products, marketing features, and providing cross-functional interactions such as the shopping cart experience for materials checkout that allows for selecting against Amazon merchants, Interlibrary Loan, and local library collections. Users can generate personalized dashboards to collect together web experiences or content that’s most relevant to them.
