As a life-long library user I’ve been disappointed by the evolution of online library catalogs. I thought I’d try my hand at tackling many of their problems without sacrificing the value and usability of the traditional paradigm.

Equinox represents an acknowledgement that library users are also consumers in general, and have a life of consumption that extends to many content outlets online.

An annual program that finished its sixth season in the summer of 2017, Teen Summer Challenge provides a dynamic, intuitive, and flexible approach to constructing and awarding badges to teens for completing a variety of challenges in their communities.

This project redesigned the website for a seasonal, county-wide reading program, with a focus on templating the content strategy and organization such that the overall design could be reused for future annual programs with updates to the palette, content, and imagery.

Scout was a grant-based project that delivered an exciting new way to explore the Pierce County Library System by completing activities, earning badges, qualifying for prizes, and sharing your experience with fellow community members.

Pierce County Library System set out to create a resource portal for military families living within their service area. Contained are guides to key library services, local resources such as school district and utilities listings, a directory of local attractions and highlights for military families new to the area.
